Privacy Notice
Last updated October 27, 2026
This notice explains what information the Bottleneck Theory website collects and what happens to it. The short version: the site collects only what you choose to send through the inquiry form, uses it only to respond to you, and does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies.
What the inquiry form collects
When you submit the contact form, the following is sent:
- Your name and work email address
- Your organization, if you provide it
- The type of help you selected and your description
- Your desired timeframe and budget range, if you provide them
- Your confirmation that you agree to be contacted about the inquiry
Please don’t include passwords, confidential records, or sensitive personal information (such as health, financial, or student records) in your message.
How it is used and where it goes
Your submission is used only to read and reply to your inquiry. The website does not store submissions in a database. Each submission is passed to a transactional email service, which delivers it as an email to Bottleneck Theory’s business inbox. The email service processes the message to deliver it and may retain delivery records under its own policies. Your inquiry email is then kept in that inbox for as long as needed to handle the conversation and keep reasonable business records.
Your information is not sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
Technical information
Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver pages and protect against abuse, and may keep short-term logs. To limit spam, the inquiry form temporarily checks how often a submission comes from the same IP address; that check is held in server memory and is not stored.
Cookies, analytics, and trackers
This site does not set cookies, run analytics, or load advertising or social-media trackers. Fonts are served from this site rather than a third party. If that changes, this notice will be updated before it does.
Your choices
You can ask what information you sent, ask for a correction, or ask for your inquiry emails to be deleted through the contact page. California residents may have additional rights under state law, and requests will be handled consistent with applicable law.
Children
This site is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
